LSA / Sports Coach

LSA or sports coach required to work 1:1 at an educational facility based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire - ASAP Start - 9:30-3:30 post, 4x days a week paying £85 a day

Are you a sports coach or LSA with a background or interest in sports or PE? Perhaps you're a recent graduate or coach interested in a rewarding and positive post working on a 1:1 basis at a sports club and helping a pupil with Numeracy and Literacy?

We are looking for a 1:1 LSA comfortable in a Sports facility who can support and offer 1:1 LSA work and help with games and some Coaching:

• 1:1 support: Help with basic numeracy and literacy lessons.
• PE / Sports coach background: Working via our education support centre this is a role that isn't based in a traditional school environment. You will be required to help at the sports ground with coaching and other general duties
• Days & Hours: Mon, Tues, Thurs and Friday from 9:30-3:30.

Role Requirements:

• Ability to be comfortable within a coaching environment: Experience working with secondary-aged pupils and / or coaching is required.
• Positive Attitude: A positive and enthusiastic approach to enhancing the learning of a specific pupil.
• Commitment: Willingness to commit until at least Christmas with the potential for a permanent contract.

Site Details:

• A local Sports facility: You'll be required to support with functional skills, English and Maths lessons and help with PE / Coaching where required.
• Rewarding role: Supporting a specific pupil who's a diagnosis of dyslexia and has had a disrupted educational journey.
• Coaching / PE input: We are looking to appoint someone comfortable in Sports environment, other duties will include assisting with PE lessons and football training with the sites qualified coaches and teachers.
